Acres Australia online bookstore charges on a per weight basis per shipment despatched.

At the end of the shopping cart process, the secure online SSL form will automatically add the weight of all books you have placed in your cart, and add the appropriate postage charge according to the calculator listed below.

Part Deliveries:
Freight charges are on a per weight despatch.
Eg: If you order 2 or more books, and one of the books is currently out of stock, you will be charged for the weight of the first shipment dispatched. When the backordered item arrives, you will then be charged for the next shipment weight.

Despatch protocol:
We will only debit your credit card prior to despatch.
All orders are placed in a queue, and first in, is first served.
If your credit card is declined, we will then contact you by email/telephone/fax, and hold your books until the next day, then the book is defaulted back into the queue.

Subscriptions:
All subscription prices quoted include postage and handling.
No freight charges will be added on at the end of the ordering process.

One issue purchase:
If you choose to purchase a single/multiple issue of Acres Australia, the national newspaper of sustainable agriculture, postage fee charge will incur. Discounts available for bulk issues.

Returns/Exchange:
All returns/exchange require an authorisation number – AABK – which can be obtained from calling Sue on 5471 0877 or by email bookstore [AT] acresaustralia [DOT] com [DOT] au or by fax 07 5449 1889– Please state your original invoice number and which book you’re returning and why.

We will accept returns and offer refund or exchange up to SEVEN days after you receive your order.
Books returned to us for refund or exchange must be in their original condition.

Initial delivery charges will only be refunded if the items you are returning are not the books you ordered; that is, if you received the books as a result of our error.

Items received as a gift may only be returned for exchange for the same value.
