This homoeopathic materia medica of the more common remedies used in veterinary practice has been compiled in the hope that it will assist the owners of animals to determine which remedy is likely to be the most effective when treating the simpler conditions with which they may be confronted.
It is not a complete study of the remedies mentioned for which a standard materia medica should be consulted.
As much care as possible has been taken to eliminate all subjective symptoms, and the more obvious objective signs have been concentrated on.
The materia medica catalogues, for the most part alpabetically, some 280 remedies, each described with a brief reference to origins, major actions upon the body systems and some useful suggested applications.
